Nikki’s graduation marks an important milestone in a journey that began in 2023 when she was recognised through the prestigious Energy Industries Council (EIC) and Robert Gordon University Rising Star MBA Award. Competing alongside some of the industry’s most promising professionals, Nikki secured a fourth place scholarship towards the MBA programme in recognition of her leadership potential, commitment to innovation and contribution to the energy sector.

The EIC/RGU Rising Star MBA Award recognises individuals who demonstrate exceptional potential to become future leaders within the industry. Nikki’s achievement reflected not only her technical expertise and commercial acumen, but also her proactive approach to continuous improvement and delivering value for both Fulkrum and our clients.

As part of her nomination, colleagues highlighted Nikki’s exceptional work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to take on responsibilities beyond her role. A key example was her leadership in developing Fulkrum’s Information Security Management System, creating a tailored solution that strengthened internal processes, improved efficiency and supported the business as it continued to grow.

Since receiving the scholarship, Nikki has successfully balanced the demands of completing her MBA while progressing her career at Fulkrum. Throughout the programme, she has continued to develop her leadership capabilities and apply new knowledge and strategic thinking within the business.
